In the story “No Name Woman ” women are treated like objects to satisfy men’s hunger for sexual pleasure and to be bossed around by them in a never ending cycle of disgusting rituals. The title “No Name Woman” is of reference that the woman in the Chinese culture gets no name because they want to hide it. The main characters grandma not having a name tells me that woman are thrown around in this society and that giving them a name is something that’s so trivial to the men in that society then this must be the most disturbing thing in the world for women. Her granddaughter is very complacent, but unlike other woman around her she is mentally stable and mentally imaginative but in the end she is getting oppressed like the other woman in this story.

               I never noticed how bad us men treated women until I read this story. It showed me that men has an abnormal amount of power over woman in this country and in this world. Women has always been the weaker minority in this world, it was either they were to stupid or their not strong enough to do anything. But time and time again women proved all the notions false. In this story the women are treated like live stock and not human beings. How can a woman be killed for getting raped and having a baby from that raping? Because men are pretty ignorant assholes, now I see why women fucking hate how men act towards them. I mean Jesus Christ what the actual hell is wrong with people, what type of brother lets his sister get killed and  then forgets about her.

              If I compare the narrators world and my world I see no major difference. The only thing I see in my world is the objection of women and the sacrilege of the human race. Women are being subjected to sexual slurs everyday, men take advantage of women everyday , women are being made prostitutes everyday, its like a never ending war against men for women to protect their sanity that was given to them when they were born. The story in my world might not be as extreme as it is in their world but its dam near the shit our woman has to go through.

For class this week I was reading a delightful book called Youth in Revolt. This is probably the best book I have ever read , this book is comical, enlightening, and simple yet elaborate at the same time .The story follows Nick Twisp and his journey to finally capture the heart on Sheeni Saunders .Through many betrayals,affairs,trickery,unreal reasoning,and difficult cross dressing they finally got together. I rate this a 9/10 because it doesn’t have a sequel yet, Its one of those type of books that when u start reading you cant stop reading it. This book is so funny it combines eloquent speaking with crude humor  at the same time and the characters are some of the best written characters I’ve seen in a long time. This takes place in Oakland CA (ayyyyyyyy) and transitions into Ukiah CA. Amazing book that I recommend to all ages.
